Society

This is my vision of society, its various characters with a rough or thin outer shell and a fragile, transparent soul, where among several individuals of society one lost, unknown, dark figure can be recognized. Through the years we gain both- the roughness and subtlety up to polished shine.

Wound

Inspiration for this work I gained from the alive tree in my yard. For decades it has hold a metallic wire around itself. The wound place has separated the glass in two parts, symbolically- our ecology. From series Guardians

In this work I wished to portray a fascinating nature process- flood, what in my land runs from 40-80 days each spring. Through the color, texture, transparency and materiality itself to create a work that is at the same time numbed miracle of opposites- poetry and hazard.It is unique opportunity with boat to go over the tops of the bushes, trough birch and oak groves, across the meadows, overpass islands, migratory birds. End of the road that disappears under water…
